(LUCAN-BIDDULPH TOWNSHIP, ON) – A female driver’s licence has been suspended and her vehicle has been impounded for seven days for driving too fast. On February 13, 2014 at approximately 1:39 p.m., an officer from the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol on Mitchell Line in Lucan-Biddulph Township when a vehicle was observed travelling well in excess of the speed limit.
The officer initiated a traffic stop as the vehicle was found to be travelling at a speed in excess of 50km/h over the posted speed limit. As a result of the investigation, the driver, Scarlett DAVIDSON, age 20 of Walkerton was charged under the stunt drive legislation.
The accused was issued a summons and is scheduled to appear in a London Provincial courtroom April 7, 2014 to speak to the charge.
