(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On March 30, 2014 at approximately 12:06 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a 1999 Toyota driving along St. Andrew Street West and turn into a parking lot. Police spoke with the female driver and believed that alcohol was consumed. A roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a fail. She was brought to the Centre Wellington Operations Centre in Fergus for further testing.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Maghen BARKLEY age 24 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 6, 2014 to answer to the charge.
