(MOSCOW, ON)- The Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has received reports of motorists removing barriers and driving through an area on County Road 6 north of Moscow that has been closed for several days due to flooding.
The flooded area is from the Moscow Landfill north to the Outlet Bridge (2.5km south of County Rd 14).
The Ontario Provincial Police would like to remind motorists that those who enter and drive on a closed highway are subject to a $110 fine and three (3) demerit points under the Highway Traffic Act.
