(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be hosting its annual recruiting initiative known as â€ÂNorthern Police Experience†in the City of Thunder Bay on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, 2014.
Up to 50 applicants will be selected to spend two days with OPP members and learn about the recruiting process for both uniform and civilian career opportunities within the Ontario Provincial Police.
During “Northern Police Experience†both officers and civilian members from the OPP will be on hand to discuss their careers and answer the candidates’ questions while showcasing specialized policing units, such as the Emergency Response Team and K9. The candidates will engage in Defensive Tactics and police scenarios as well.
