(ARMOUR TWP, ON) On Saturday July 19, 2014 at approximately 4:40 p.m., the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11, Armour Township.
A Plymouth Sundance was travelling northbound on Highway 11, by Horn Lake Road, Armour Township, when the driver noticed a northbound vehicle approaching them from behind at a high rate of speed. The approaching vehicle, a green Nissan Sentra struck the rear of the Plymouth causing extensive damage.
The OPP attended the collision and subsequently arrested the driver of the Sentra, Lawrence PULLEN, 70 of Sundridge Ontario with Dangerous Driving and failing to comply with recognizance, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was held for a bail hearing on Monday July 21, 2014 in Parry Sound Ontario.
