(BURK’S FALLS, ON) The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter to M. A. Wittick school in the Village of Burk’s Falls, Ontario.
Sometime on Sunday July 13, 2014, unknown person(s) entered the school and is believed to have played basketball in the gym before leaving. It does not appear like anything was taken from the school.
Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.â€Â
Police and the local Municipal Government continue to be concerned in regards to incidents similar to this, involving vandalism to the community. The OPP is currently undertaking strategies to improve visibility and further deter these crimes. The police would like to ask people to report any suspicious activity to assist with this strategy.
