(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 47 year old man with a Drinking and Driving related offence after responding to a complaint of a possible impaired driver.
On Sunday August 10th, 2014 at approximately 4:37 pm Police were alerted to a possible impaired driver on Rainham Road, Haldimand County, ON who was driving an older blue van.
Police patrols of the area located the suspect van and while the officer was speaking with the driver signs of alcoholic beverage consumption was detected which resulted in his arrest.
Charged with Driving a motor vehicle over the legal limit of alcohol is 47 year old Stephen KOHLER of Haldimand County, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charge.
