(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Street Crimes unit of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of front line members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP charged a male with numerous offences as a result of a vehicle stop in Collingwood.
On the 12th of August 2014 shortly before 12:30pm, officers on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Cedar Street in Collingwood. Investigation found that the male driver was in possession of marihuana and as such he was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment.
Charged is 26 year-old Michael HUTCHINSON from Collingwood, he is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance (Cannabis marihuana) under 30 grams, three counts of failing to comply with a probation order and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was held for bail court in Barrie.
