WARRANT EXECUTED – TWO ARRESTED

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit has charged a 46 year old female and 51year old male with drug offences after executing a search warrant at a Queen Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at approximately 10:21 a.m., members of the Street Crime Unit, Norfolk County Detachment and Emergency Response Team (ERT), attended a Queen Street South address and executed a search warrant. As a result of the warrant police seized a quantity of prescription drugs, Canadian currency and Cocaine valued at approximately $2,900 dollars.

Charged with the following offences is 46 year old Tracy Shirley Lynn BOONE of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Dilaudid-Hydromorphone
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Hydromorph-Contin
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
Careless storage of prohibited weapon and ammunition X2
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Charged with the following offences is 51 year old Gerald Lee LININGTON of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Dilaudid-Hydromorphone
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Hydromorph-Contin
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order X3
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
Careless storage of prohibited weapon and ammunition X2
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
All parties are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.

“The sale illegal drugs and prescription medication poses a real threat to both public and police safety. The OPP remains strongly committed to work within all of our communities across the province to reduce the amount of illicit drugs,” comments Provincial Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
