(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On August 14, 2014 at approximately 6:18 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police uniform officers, Wellington County OPP Street Crime Unit (SCU) and the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) safely executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an apartment on John Street, Harriston-Town of Minto. As a result of the search warrant, officers arrested a male and seized 4.85 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marihuana as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Carl MCDONALD age 38 of Harriston is charged with;
-Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking-Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.)
-Possession of Marihuana under 30 grams-C.D.S.A.
He appeared in Guelph Bail Court on 14 August, 2014.
