(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On August 14, 2014 at approximately 10:43 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the area of Kilworth Park Drive and Birchcrest Drive when a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation investigation.
During the traffic stop, police discovered the driver had been drinking. A roadside test was administered and the driver registered a fail. Police arrested the driver and transported her to the OPP detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged female driver Lynda ROBBINS, age 51 of Victoria, British Columbia with driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in a London courtroom September 4, 2014 to speak to the charge.
