OPP CHARGE MOTORCYCLE OPERATOR FOR EXCESSIVE SPEED

(GOGAMA) – An officer with the Gogama Ontario Provincial Police has charged a

56 year old Sudbury, Ontario man for Stunt Driving stemming from a traffic stop on Hwy 144 on August 26th

While conducting traffic patrol of Hwy 144 in the Gogama area, an OPP officer had occasion to observe a motorcycle allegedly being driven at a speed of 143 kms per hour.

The driver was stopped by the OPP officer.

The driver has been charged and served with a 7 day driver’s licence suspension.

Additionally, the vehicle has been impounded for a period of 7 days.

The accused driver is required to attend Provincial Court, in Gogama on November 24th to answer to the charge laid against him.
