(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 14, 2014 at approximately 2:02 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were monitoring southbound traffic and conducting speed enforcement on Highway 6 at Wellington Road 22 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
At this time and location officers observed a Volkswagon Jetta travelling southbound at a speed greater than the posted 80 km/h. The motor vehicle was clocked on radar at 139 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Bryan BULL age 20 of Collingwood is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on November 19, 2014 to answer to the charge.
