MALE FACING CHARGES

(CALEDON, ON) – On September 9th, 2014 shortly after 8:20 am, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a threats and dangerous driving complaint. Investigation revealed that the driver of a motor vehicle left Mississauga with a male and female passenger. While entering the area of Highway 410, the driver began to operate his vehicle in an unsafe manner risking the lives of his passengers. In doing so, the driver uttered that his intent was to kill his passengers. The driver entered a King Street location and the male passenger was able to exit the vehicle safely. The passenger then contacted police to report the incident.

Officers located the male suspect and he was arrested. A search of the male uncovered a small quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine. .

As a result of the investigation, Timothey E. BOYD, 41, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Uttering Death Threats and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance.

He was held in custody and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville the following day.
