(Essa Township, ON) On the 15th of October 2014, officers from the Nottawasaga OPP were contacted regarding a found gun locker in a field on the west side of Don Ross Road just north of County Road 90 of Essa Township.
Officers attended and located a 4-foot green gun locker that contained nine rifles. The investigation is continuing, and efforts are being made to locate the owners however at this time the Nottawasaga OPP are asking the public for assistance. Anyone with information regarding the gun locker are urged to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or the Nottawasaga Detachment at (705) 434-1939.
