In the early afternoon of August 31, officers on patrol came upon a group of pedestrians consuming open liquor at the town beach. Officers investigated the individuals, and learned that one of them was subject of outstanding charges and on a court ordered release not to consume alcohol. Charged with failing to comply with their release conditions is 27 year old Larissa QUEZANCE of Lac Seul, Ontario. QUEZANCE remains in custody for a bail court appearance.
During the evening of August 31, officers on patrol observed a subject at the town beach, who appeared quite intoxicated. Upon speaking to the individual, the officers observations were confirmed, and the investigation further revealed that the subject was on release conditions from outstanding charges with conditions to abstain from alcohol consumption. Charged with failing to comply with their undertaking is 19 year old Lyle SAKAKEESIC of Cat Lake, Ontario. SAKAKEESIC was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Cat Lake court on November 12, 2013.
