In the afternoon August 31, officers on patrol came upon a group of intoxicated individuals in the alley behind Front Street. Two of the individuals in the group became confrontation with police as they were being arrested. Charged with one count of resist arrest is 20 year old Julie MUCKUCK of Sioux Lookout, and charged with one count of causing a disturbance and one count of utter threats is 22 year old Stephanie MEZZETAY of Cat Lake, Ontario. Both were later released from custody and will appear in Sioux Lookout court on September 17, 2013 to answer to the charges.
Later on the afternoon of August 31, officers responded to a complaint at a local business regarding an individual who intoxicated, refusing to leave the property, and was yelling at employees of the business. Officers attended the scene and removed the accused without further incident. Charged with one count of causing a disturbance is 37 year old Crystal OOMABSH of Cat Lake, Ontario. OOMBASH was released from custody and will appear in Sioux Lookout court on October 1, 2013, to answer to the charges.
