Kyle RASTIN – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – At approximately 11:40 p.m. the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Westchester Bourne.

Police located the vehicle, a silver Acura car, and determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been drinking alcohol.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.

As a result of the investigation, Kyle RASTIN, age 30, of Central Elgin, Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), resist peace officer, and fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3) alcohol/blood.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer to the charges in a London court on January 8, 2015.
