(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – On May 8, 2015 at approximately 2:23 a.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a possible impaired driver travelling westbound on Elijah Road near Ballpark Road.
Officers initiated a traffic stop of the motor vehicle, a white Buick car, and determined that the male driver had been drinking alcohol.
The male was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the investigation, Phillip DOXTATOR, age 18, from Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol and drug), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to appear in a London court on June 23, 2015 to answer to the charges.
