(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On May 7, 2015, at approximately 12:22 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Calvert Line, near Stoneridge Crescent.
The motor vehicle, a grey Cadillac car, had struck mailboxes.
It was determined that the 46 year old female driver had been drinking alcohol. She was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing, which revealed she had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Margrete-Ann MCKENZIE, from Middlesex Centre, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol, and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer to the charges in a London court on June 18, 2015.
