(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On May 23, 2015 at 11:28p.m members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on Park Street in Victoria Harbour.
Earlier that evening at 10:00 p.m. two females and a male teen were walking on Park Street in the area of Lovejoy Street in Victoria Harbour when they observed this suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was playing very loud music and the occupants were laughing and yelling things as they drove by them several times.
At one point the vehicle stopped and a male occupant exited the vehicle. The male teen walking approached the vehicle. The male occupant grabbed his arm and asked him several times to get in the car. The male occupant was laughing and jumping and appeared to be intoxicated. The male walking pushed the other male away and ran away with his friends. There were no injuries.
This was the only incident of this kind on that evening and police would like to speak to the occupants that were in the involved vehicle. The following is a description of the occupants and vehicle involved:
– Non-white male 16-18 years, 5’8” tall, very short dark hair, black t-shirt and shorts (occupant who exited the vehicle)
– Driver is male white has blonde hair and a white t-shirt
– Passenger in rear behind driver is male white, dirty blonde hair with a goatee
– Forth occupant is only described as a white male.
The vehicle is a dark colored sedan similar to a Honda Civic with bright white lights. A light hanging in the area of the rear license plate.
