(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Saturday, June 6, 2015 at approximately 7:52 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Hwy. 26 at the 11th Line in the Municipality of Meaford. The driver of the suspect vehicle, a GMC pick-up truck, failed to stop for police until such time as a second OPP cruiser come on the scene. The pick-up truck pulled over without incident on Hwy. 26 just west of Meaford.
Christopher MARTIN, 24, of the Municipality of Meaford was issued a Summons for speeding and failing to stop for police under the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear in Court in Owen Sound on June 22, 2015.
