(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On June 2, 2015 at approximately 2:15 a.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a possible impaired driver travelling southbound on Richmond Street near Denfield Road.
Officers initiated a traffic stop of the motor vehicle, a white Lexus car, and determined that the male driver had been drinking alcohol.
The male was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the investigation, Sean MCRAE, age 30, from Middlesex Centre, Ontario, has been charged with fail or refuse to provide sample 254 (3) alcohol/blood, and driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to appear in a London court on July 30, 2015 to answer to the charges.
