(Cobourg, ON) – Members of the Northumberland County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on Highway 401 westbound just east of Cobourg yesterday just before 2:00pm.
A vehicle pulling a 30’ boat caused the crash as the vessel came off the trailer. The 401 was closed for a little more than an hour, while emergency crews cleaned up the debris. No one was injured as a result and the collision remains under investigation.
