(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Saturday September 12, 2015 at approximately 4:51am Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of pickup truck from the Greer Road area in the Town of Huntsville.
A short time later the stolen vehicle was spotted by police in the Ravenscliffe Road area in Huntsville. Police attempted to stop the vehicle which resulted in a Suspect Apprehension Pursuit (SAP). The SAP proceeded Northbound on Highway #11 and exited on Novar Road north of Huntsville. The SAP entered the village of Novar and for public safety reasons was terminated.

The vehicle was located abandoned in the community of Novar. OPP K9 and Emergency Response Team members (ERT) responded to assist in attempting to locate the driver without success.
