(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a male with Impersonating a Police Officer.
On September 26, 2015 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Orillia OPP was dispatched to a complaint of a male party in a pickup truck who was speaking with a young female.
Officers arrived on scene and were advised that a male in a red pickup truck had stopped a 15 year old female who was walking on Dufferin Street in the City of Orillia. The male told the female that she owed him money and that he was a police officer. He attempted to have the female get into his truck but she refused and left the area.
Officers later located the female and after further investigation have charged a male party.
Chris LEBRES-DASILVA, 24 years old of Clearview Township, has been charged with Impersonating a Police Officer. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia court on November 3, 2015.
