(North Dundas) – On October 30, 2015 at approximately 7:46am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of two Bulldozer batteries from a commercial property on Russell Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between (October 23-30, 2015) two Bulldozer Batteries were removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
THEFT OF TRAILER
(South Stormont) – On October 30, 2015 at approximately 12:36pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Dump trailer from a residence on Dixon Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that overnight (October 29-30, 2015) a 12 foot 2012 PULRITE D61 Black dump trailer (plate – J5389A), with an electric jack on front tongue was removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOP
(South Glengarry) – On October 30, 2015 at approximately 11:19am, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The male driver, Kentaro ISHIKURA (23) of Niagara Falls, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
The male was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on December 9, 2015.
(North Dundas) – On October 30, 2015 at approximately 18:15pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 43, North Dundas Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The male driver, Wesley FLEGG (34) of Beckwith, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
The male was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 8, 2015.
THEFT OF ATV
(North Dundas) – On October 30, 2015 at approximately 6:37pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a ATV from a residence on Spruit Road, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (October 29-30, 2015) a black 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 (plate – RJ219) was removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(North Dundas) – On October 30, 2015 at approximately 9:06pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a motor vehicle following a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the male driver was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident. The male was also in possession of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
Adam BOUCHARD (26) from North Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with probation order (3 counts)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
The male was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 8th, 2015.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(South Stormont) – On October 31, 2015 at approximately 12:10am, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officer had the occasion to stop a vehicle during a RIDE program on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Shane GOUGEON (29) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on December 17, 2015.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Dundas) – On November 1, 2015 at approximately 12:26am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Broadway Crescent in South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his common law wife resulted with the male assaulting the female.
An adult male (43) from South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
The Male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice November 17, 2015 in Cornwall. The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
