Daryll DEMING – Drunk Driving

(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On October 30, 2015 shortly after 6:30 p.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint regarding a vehicle swerving on the roadway and into oncoming traffic. The vehicle was observed and a traffic stop was conducted on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg.

Through police investigation it was determined that the male driver of the Toyota pickup truck was subsequently found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was requested to provide a sample of his breath into an approved roadside screening device which registered a fail and he was subsequently arrested. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

Daryll DEMING, 44-years-old, of Tillsonburg, is charged with the following:

· Operate a Motor Vehicle – Over 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood

· Operate a Motor Vehicle – Impaired

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
