(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Central Drug Enforcement Unit and Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) with the assistance of members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), members of the OPP Canine Unit as well as officers from Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP and Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Collingwood.
On the 16th of December 2015, OPP officers attended a residence located on High Street near First Street in Collingwood to execute a search warrant. The warrant yielded 46 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marihuana and hydromorphone and led to the arrest of a female resident who now stands charged with various criminal code offences.
Charged is 37 year-old Angie STEELE of Collingwood, she is charged with 4 counts of failing to comply with recognizance under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as possession of schedule I substance – cocaine, possession of schedule II substance – cannabis resin, possession of schedule I substance – other drug and possession a schedule I substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. She was held for bail court this morning in Barrie.
