On the 15 April 2016 at approximately 9:13 a.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jason Golds conducted a routine traffic stop on #60 Highway in Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. The driver of the motor vehicle was found to be in possession of a quantity of marihuana. Charged with Production of Marihuana section 7(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act is 46 yr. old Robert GERVAIS, of Laurentian Valley Twp. The accused was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date in Killaloe, Ontario Court of Justice.
Assault
On the 13 April 2016 at approximately 5: 46 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Lindsay Moore and Constable Jordan Bullis attended an address in Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. regarding a domestic disturbance call. Subsequent to officer investigation a 56 yr. old male has been charged with Forcible Confinement, section 279(2), Assault, section 266 , Overcoming Resistance, section 246(a), and Uttering Threats section 2641(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with Undertaking conditions, with a court date in Killaloe Ontario Court of Justice. The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
