William MACDONALD – Drunk Driving

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a male with impaired driving.

On Sunday May 29, 2016 at approximately 10:00 p.m, police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the area of Highway 17 in the City of Kenora.

A short time later, police located the vehicle on Highway 17 near Kendall Inlet Road and conducted a vehicle stop. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported him to detachment for further tests.

As a result of this investigation, 60 year old William MACDONALD of Winnipeg, Manitoba has been charged with Driving while Ability Impaired and Driving a Motor Vehicle with more than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

He is to appear in Kenora Court on June 30, 2016 to answer to the charges.
