(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 6, 2016 at approximately 8:22 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a male driving a Volkswagen that was speeding on Colborne Street, Elora.
Police located suspected marihuana and made a seizure. An arrest was made and the man was released at the scene with court documents.
26-year-old Dean LONG of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Speeding contrary Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 13, 2016.
