(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 20-year-old male after police stopped a vehicle at an Alma Street North, Hagersville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 8, 2016 at approximately 2:59 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area Alma Street North when a vehicle attracted the officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 20-year-old Colin DONATO of Haldimand County, Ontario with disobey stop sign, driver-fail to properly wear seat belt, driver motor vehicle- no currently validated permit and fail to have insurance card, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He was subsequently issued Provincial Offence Notices.
