(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday February 14, 2014 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers while investigation an occurrence at a residence in Listowel discovered that some items at the residence had been stolen.
Investigation into the origins of the property indicated it had recently been shoplifted from four local merchants. With the help of store surveillance it was possible to determine where the property originated and when it was stolen.
Two female Municipality of North Perth Youths aged 14 and 15 have each been charged with ten counts of “theft under $5,000 – shopliftingâ€Â. They will have to appear before a Youth Court Justice on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel to answer to these charges.
