(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Wednesday the 26th of November 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a drug complaint on Monck Street in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended the location where they arrested a male young person.
A 15 year old male of the Town of Bancroft has been charged with possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions and is scheduled to appear at youth court at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 22nd of January 2015.
The name of the youth cannot be released in accordance to provisions in the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
