Youth Charged with Breaching Release Conditions

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a youth for failing to comply with his release conditions.

On September 14, 2013, the youth was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with a specific Blenheim man. Another condition stated that he was not to attend two specific addresses on John Street in Blenheim.

Yesterday afternoon around 4:50 p.m. police attended the man’s a residence on John Street and observed the youth sitting there on the couch.

The 17-year-old Blenheim youth has been charged with two counts of failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
