On October 3, 2013, a male youth and teenage girl became involved in a verbal argument in Tilbury. As the male was yelling and swearing, he grabbed the girl and threw her to the ground. Witnesses pushed the male away and the 16-year-old girl was able to get up. Attempts were made to located the male, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, officers located the male and he was arrested. The 17-year-old Tilbury male has been charged with assault. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
