The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
In August 2013, an 18-year-old Blenheim youth reported that he was the victim of a fraudulent bank transaction. Through investigation, police learned that a 17-year-old Blenheim youth was responsible and he was charged with fraud under $5000. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
On April 7, 2014, the youth failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning, the youth was located in Blenheim and arrested. He was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.
