On Thurs. Nov. 27, 2014 at approximately 11:30am police responded to a workplace accident in the city of Cambridge. A male had been working working on a machine involving the lifting of steel sheets. While working at his station the male was injuried when sheets of steel fell on his left hand crushing his thumb. The male was transported by ambulance to Cambridge Memorial Hospital for treatment. The ministry of Labour was contacted and taking over the incident.
