On Thursday November 27, 2014 a collision occurred on Waterloo Street at Forest Ave E, New Hamburg between a Sport Utility Vehicle and three pedestrians. The vehicle was northbound on Forrest Av E and stopped at the intersection of Forrest Av E and Waterloo St. The driver then made a left turn onto Waterloo St. A woman pulling two children in a wagon, were northbound in the crosswalk on Waterloo St. The vehicle struck the woman and children at approximately 5:42 pm. The woman and children were taken to Grand River Hospital for minor injuries. Weather conditions are considered to be a factor in this collision. The investigation is continuing.
