(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police in Elliot Lake is currently investigating an assault that occurred the evening of November 1, 2015.
Investigation revealed that at approximately 10:45 p.m. a twenty-one year old female was grabbed and forcibly taken behind 149 Mississauga Avenue where she was assaulted. The victim described her attacker as a Caucasian male with dark hair, blue eyes, wearing a grey sweater, dark jeans and was approximately 5’7”.
The OPP reminds everyone when out walking, walk with a friend, be aware of your surroundings, and avoid short cuts through unlighted area.
