(SPANISH, ON)- On May 1, 2018, members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to call where a male had enter a residence on Vincent Street in the Town of Spanish.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., a couple were home and the husband had to leave his residence and his wife decided to take a nap. A short time later, the wife heard the back door open and someone enter her home. The female heard a male’s voice that she did not recognize. The female hid in a closet and could hear the unknown male go in the basement and then upstairs of her residence. The male exited the home and as she looked out her bedroom window she recognized a male known to her and her husband.
As a result of the investigation, Raymond LAMBERT, 63 years of age from Spanish, Ontario was charged with: Unlawfully in a Dwelling House, contrary to section 349(1) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on July 5, 2018.
