On November 8, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. Waterloo Regional Police tried to stop a vehicle on Ottawa Street South in Kitchener. The driver failed to stop for police and in an attempt to flee, lost control of the vehicle and caused a four-vehicle collision. The female driver ran away from her vehicle but was caught by police shortly after. There were no injuries to anyone involved. A 29-year-old Kitchener woman has been charged with numerous driving related offences including flight from police, driving while disqualified and dangerous driving.
