Around 8:40 a.m. yesterday morning, an officer on general patrol observed a woman driving a motor vehicle northbound on Delaware Avenue in Chatham. The officer queried the licence plates and learned that her insurance status was not confirmed. The officer initiated a traffic stop and confirmed that the woman’s insurance was expired.
The 30-year-old Chatham woman was charged with driving with no insurance.
