The Chatham-Kent police have charged a woman following a traffic stop yesterday in Wallaceburg.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m. an officer observed a grey Ford Escape travelling eastbound on Elgin Street. The officer believed the driver was unlicensed and initiated a traffic stop. Through investigation, the officer confirmed that the woman was suspended for unpaid fines.
The 32-year-old Wallaceburg woman was charged with driving while under suspension.
