(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On November 18, 2015 at approximately 1:08 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road, Guelph. A female driving a 2010 Lexus was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
55-year-old Judy KOR of Mississauga has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on December 2, 2015.
