Wingham Repeat Offender Arrested Again – Catherine CORR & Randall KOSTUIK

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges against two people after they were caught trying to break into backyard sheds in Exeter this past weekend.

On Sunday, April 12, 2020 at approximately 9:25 p.m. Huron OPP officers responded to the area of John Street West and Carling Street after a resident spotted two people running through backyards in the neighbourhood.

Police located the pair and they were warned they could be charged if they were found trespassing. Approximately one hour later police were called back to the area as witnesses reported they had returned and were seen in the backyards. Police also learned one suspect had tried to break-in to a shed while the other acted as a lookout.

Upon patrolling the area police were able to locate and arrest both suspects.

Catherine CORR, 30 years of age from Wingham has been charged with Mischief Under $5,000 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. She has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 18, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.

Randall KOSTUIK, 51 years of age from Bluewater has been charged with Mischief Under $5,000. He has since been released with a court date scheduled for July 23, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
