Everyone attending the council meeting Monday night is encouraged to bring their cell phones/video cameras. The only real weapons the People have to defend their Community from the Wingham Police are video cameras and cold hard budget facts.
The Public is strongly encouraged NOT to make any physical contact with the anti-democracy protesters or the Wingham police at Monday night’s protest/council meeting. The Wingham police are strongly encouraged to use only non-lethal weapons Monday night if they insist on oppressing the People.
We have heard several horror stories regarding the Wingham police and strongly urge the Public not to provoke them to violence Monday night. We would like to remind the Public that it is completely legal to video record the police, don’t let them tell you otherwise.
Town Hall is a Public building, and the Public has a Right to be there for a council meeting. Since the Wingham police will likely be present, it is highly unlikely anyone will dare bring up OPP costing for Wingham, that includes the Public, Press and Councilors. This is just one of the ways the Old Boys Club stays in power.
