William SICARD-HENDRIX – Obstruct Peace Officer

(Rockland ON) On February 17, 2014 OPP Constables were on patrol on County Road 17 in Rockland. The officers noticed a vehicle parked at the Food Basic with its light off. They decided to check the vehicle and when they approached the driver they detected a smell of an illegal drug. They investigated the matter and located some illegal drugs in the vehicle. The driver was advised that he was being arrested for a drug offence. In the process of the arrest the male resisted and gave the officers hard time. He was eventually apprehended and he was transported to the OPP office.

William SICARD-HENDRIX, 20 years old from Alfred-Plantagenet will have to appear in L’Orignal court on March 26, 2014 to answer to the following charges:

CC 129(a) Obstruct Peace Officer

CDSA 4(1) Poss of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams
