(TAY VALLEY TWP, ON) – In November, 2014 the Lanark County OPP charged 64 year old, William (Bill) McNICOL with several sex offence in regards to a historic sexual assault investigation dating back to 1993.
Upon further investigation, on 23 December, 2014, the accused was arrested and charged, in relation to a second victim, dating back to the late 1980’s. Mr. McNICOL is charged with one count each of Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Interference with a Person Under the age of 16 years old, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and is to appear in court on Monday. 26 January, 2015.
